Biography
CharlesI attended Ohio State from 2001-2005, earning his Bachelor's of Science in Astronomy. During time at OSU, he was in the marching band for 2 years and spent 4 years in the athletic band, performing at women's volleyball, men's ice hockey, and men's and women's basketball. Charles' time in the band increased his knowledge of and passion for Buckeye sports of all types. After graduating from Ohio State, Charles continued his academic career by attending Michigan State for graduate school where he continued his love for all things Buckeye, much to the annoyance of his neighbors at times. He earned his PhD in Astronomy and Astrophysics in 2011 and now works at Michigan State as a postdoctoral researcher. Charles is also a high school football and basketball official, something that gives him a unique perspective on the sports and occasionally irritates people as he defends the zebras.
