Oh yeah, it was great to talk some football with you. I hated to cut it short too, but my friend and I were in between social activities. I was going to reference you in a synopsis post of my Columbus vacay when I got back.

And let's keep V. I like my pen name

I read "Yes, I met..." and was crushed to discover that it wasn't me. HA!

Thanks for taking time out of your vacay to stop by, V (S? What do I call you now?), that was very cool of you. Sorry work had to intrude and etc.

Well said on Pryor - "flawless" about sums it up; he was the superior QB in this particular matchup by a long, long shot - in fact, there was no aspect of the game or position grouping where we DIDN'T demonstrate ourselves to be superior to those effing poseurs. WR was closer than any of them, and that's only due to one bad drop by DeVier (on one of the best throws I've seen TP make yet; what bullshit) and what appeared (to my admittedly non-expert eye, anyway) to be an overall weak effort from Duron. But we still come out on top there because they didn't all completely disappear other than one guy like the Nits' did. While I'm on the subject of position groupings, I'd like to go ahead and beat one of the Buckeye blogosphere's dead horses a little bit more: can there, really, be any doubt anymore about who's the REAL "Linebacker U."? How many times do we have to make PSU's LBs look weak/slow/stupid while at the same time kicking the shit out of them w/ OUR LBs before the rest of the CFB world takes notice?

Finally: "when I get back to Alabama" - Morrissey couldn't write anything that depressing.

At no point did I ever say, "What the hell are you doing" after a Pryor pass. That +2TDs = winning effort...

I'm posting from my friend's laptop in his apartment off Bethel Road, and I'm grateful that he's allowing me to do it. Here's some preliminary thoughts:

- Pryor made no mistakes this game. He wasn't Peyton Manning this game, but that's fine. He made no mistakes. He can't account for Duron or DeVier dropping a pass, nor can he account for when Penn State brings an extra guy that they can't block. Essentially, he was flawless.
- Please don't leave us, Cam Heyward.
- Yes, I met Pete Johnson. Yes, I talked with Pete Johnson. Yes, he is the balls. Yes, me talking about Brian Baschnagel to my friend Ben was the icebreaker for me talking with Pete Johnson. I totally recommend Halftime Tavern on Bethel Road for a gameday bar experience in Columbus, Ohio. My kudos to all of them.
- If this wasn't already the greatest vacay ever, I left Halftime Tavern with an autographed picture of BOTH Pete Johnson AND Brian D. Baschnagel Greatest. Vacy. Ever. Thanks again Chris for the Baschnagel pic.

More wil follow when I get back to Alabama.
