It’s only a matter of hours before the Buckeyes and the Boilermakers tip off, giving the Buckeyes a chance at tying a Big Ten record for 17 consecutive conference road victories.  Standing in their way is a team that is looking at this from the viewpoint that an upset can be brewing.  I posted my preview yesterday; 11w’s preview is informative as well.

Lots of questions around this game for Buckeye fans and, funny that for a series which is largely very competitive between both sides, the questions I’m interested in are all one-sided.  How are we progressing as an offense? How well do we perform as a defense?  It’s not lost on me that I’m not interested in how well we match up with Purdue, more how we play in general.  While I find myself more oblivious to the intricacies of the receiver corp v. Purdue’s secondary and the beef of Purdue’s defensive interior against our interior of Boren, Brewster and Browning, I can’t expect Purdue to lay down, try not to get hurt and try to expedite the process towards enjoying the rest of the weekend.  Purdue’s faithful will want this victory badly; how quickly can we close the door on Purdue and assert ourselves as dominant male of the pride?

I don’t get BTN.  I’ll try to follow this game as best I can.  I should participate in the live blog below.
