It’s gameday at Ohio Stadium, meaning that those of us unable to be in the Horseshoe for ourselves will be watching on the edge of our seats.  Ohio State begins conference play, hosting an Illini team that had the advantage of a bye week before today to address questions in the secondary, linebacker corp, and the health of Arrelious Benn and Juice Williams. Ohio State looks for a host of things: revenge, continued improvement on the offensive side of the ball, revenge, maybe a bloodbath, and some measure of payback for that God-awful 2007 game. Meanwhile, Illinois looks to haunt the Horseshoe further and, if at all possible, pick up only their 2nd victory in Big Ten openers in the past 16 tries.

A 3:30 ET kickoff, the game will be on ABC for those of you residing in the Midwest and on ESPN for those of unfortunate to be somewhere else.  Those of you en route to Ohio Stadium may need to bring a poncho, as it may rain a little.

I should be joining the other Buckeye bloggers at Jeff’s live blog, linked below. You can read my preview of the game here.

Go Bucks!

O-line needs to give Pryor more time to set and throw, he was still getting pressure fromToledo’s front.

I also like that Tressel wasn’t the only one calling plays last week………I know that had to be really rough for the man ( Sweater vest himself ).

Boom needs to find the holes and hit’m, enough dancing around and hitting the holes half a**.

And the big question, which I really hope isn’t an issue today………our Defense against Juice and the spread. Can we keep him contained and corraled enough so our LB’s can get a bead on him if he gets flushed up into the middle.

We should win this by a couple scores.

    Go Bucks!!

Missed the game, except for the last 37 seconds, due to, um, golfing. However, I did record it, so I’m set for this evening. Off hand, I’d say the Fightin’ Zookers got Achaned!
