Not a lot needs to be said on top of that, but the file on the incoming Buckeye tailback reads that the charge is now — as it really should be — a misdemeanorAs previously mentioned, Jaamal was caught with more than 20 grams of the grass, which qualifies as a felony in Draco’s Sunshine State.  The reduced charge certainly suggests a minor punishment that will not jeopardize his scholarship or his career at Ohio State or his scholarship, though the leash on Berry will likely be a short one.

Today also happens to be the day of his arraignment.

In spite of the arrest and pending charges, Jaamal reported to Columbus for summer school on June 22.

This seems to be good news for young Mr. Berry. On a somewhat related note (well, not that related), it seems we have a studly new running back commit for class of 2010, shoutout to 11W.
