Tim Brewster Is Calling All His Ballers
I try to not waste a post and spam the Big Ten Bloggers RSS feed, but I’m going to make an exception here. If you follow my delicious.com feed, you’ll know that I think of Tim Brewster’s Twitter account as the sole reason why the internets was invented. Indeed, his arrival on to Twitter is the greatest accomplishment this series of tubes could possibly bring us. I expect the internets to slowly degenerate and eventually jump the shark before too long.
Until that time, I will enjoy Tim Brewster’s tweeting1. I think this might be his best.
TCF Bank stadium WOWED recruits again yesterday!! The finest brand new stadium in America! Calling all ballers Lets Ride!!
I think the only thing missing was Brewster saying “ride wit me”. I’ll attribute that to the 140 character constraint of the microblogging platform.

- Terrelle Pryor ended practice in some discomfort, though it doesn’t appear to be major.
- On that same note, Orhian Johnson again makes an appearance. He blocked a field goal in the kick scrimmage. Again: 6’4, 40 inch vertical. He’s a shooting guard playing safety. Go on.
- Ken Gordon qualifies the litany of blocked kicks in the scrimmage by drawing attention to the mixed, jumbled nature of the protection schemes.
- There was a Devon Torrence sighting. Apparently he had the best day returning kicks and had a good day returning punts. Posey apparently led all in the latter category.
- Ben Buchanan is both punting and kicking. He went 4/5 and averaged 39.8 yards per punt. Apparently his field goal tries have looked the easiest of anyone kicking, but Pettrey has the starting job locked down. Presently, Thoma has the advantage in the punting department.
- is that what it’s called? This newfangled technology is strange. [↩]
