I went to OSU 69-73 and lived in Steeb Hall one floor below the football team. That was probably the best OSU team ever,( if you count the number of NFL draftees in the first 2 rounds it was the best college football team ever). I was at the Michigan game in 69 and because I knew Jack Tatum and others I felt even worse for those guys. I’ve been to super bowls (10 Dallas Pittsburg), but nothing matches those OSU Michigan games.

Just watched the 74 game 35 years later. Early on, I was wondering if it was one of the ones that Lantry blew. That kick sure as hell looked good on both the play and the replay, the video quality wasnt good enough to even see the ball here. I always felt kind of sorry for Mike regarding his performance that day, I feel even sorrier after seeing that he probably got robbed. Even so, I was probably the happiest guy outside of Ohio the day that he did.
