Jim Heacock loves him some alliteration
The Big Ten Network got around to uploading the practice footage, which was nice of them because we don’t get the BTN down here in Greenbow County, Alabama. Of course, the players are running some mundane drills focusing on technique, but a few things stuck out to me in watching the defenses.
- Nader Abdallah looks quite lean, which I’m guessing is a product of Eric Lichter running everyone ragged in the offseason. I hope that translates into him being a force in the interior, but I’m not holding my breath. Whatever the case, he doesn’t look “round” as he did last year.
- That looked to be Nate Oliver (#14) on the second team unit.
- Robert Rose is built like a monster truck.
