The 1998 Iowa game is a gem. There should be some good clips from that. The best clips come from the road games, in my opinion. Nothing like several big plays to deflate the home crowd and let them know who's boss.

Dude, by all means, upload what you have as well. Don't worry about stepping on any toes from my end.

Also, I do have the 1999 Sugar Bowl v. A&M and will try to get to that next.

From what I can see on my desk here, I have the following:
1997 - Rose Bowl
1998 - WVU, Iowa, Michigan, A&M Sugar Bowl
1999 - Hoops: St. Johns, UCONN
2002 - Northwestern, San Jose State, Penn State, Minny, Michigan, Fiesta Bowl
2003 - Washington, SDSU

There are some others I haven't pulled out yet, and I'm finding that on some tapes there are games that I forgot to put on the tape label, so there could be additions for sure.

I would love to see the 2002 Wisky game if you have it. That game is nowhere to be found online and I think it's arguably Tressel's best victory of that regular season (and his only victory over Alvarez). I say arguably because, well, with so many epic games played that season each with it's own twists and turns, saying which one was the "best" would be like trying to decide who is favourite son or daughter.

My personal favourite was Penn State in 2002. That Gamble pick-six still resonates for me as the loudest I ever heard Ohio Stadium (Gabby was telling me he noticed the same thing too when he came up for the Penn State game way back when). And that place erupted... wow.

I won't upload anything from that era (1998-2002) to respect your collection and allow 11w to add to its A/V Club. Curious, though, do you have that 1999 Sugar Bowl game against A&M? I have it and that's on my priority list to upload.

As for me, I'm focusing on Woody and Earle Bruce. I'm particularly disappointed that these old Bruce era games aren't available for easy consumption like some of the Cooper era games and Tressel games. I'm obsessed with finding Bruce era games because, well, I'm 23 years old and when Earle Bruce dies, I'm convinced no Buckeye fan who came of age during Jim Tressel is going to have any idea who he was or what he accomplished at Ohio State. Granted, he's no Woody or Tressel, but he gave us some good moments and a great run in 1979 for which Charles White can burn in the hottest part of hell (my dad had just relocated to Los Angeles in 1979 and was at that Rose Bowl game as well. I think he sends similar regards, but you would have to ask him.). Fans need to know more about Earle Bruce.

It's just as good that you're focusing on Cooper too. People need to know that there was more to the Cooper era than 2-10-1.

Maybe 20 random games from 1998-2002, including some of what you've put up. Nothing exotic, unfortunately. They're all on VHS, though and finding the time to import and edit is what's challenging. Plus, I'm concerned that my setup is degrading the quality. I found a service that will convert them to digital (VCD) for $5/per and may go that route because the internet needs these old games.

Man, Tom Nugent sure was great wasn't he? Didn't hold a candle to San Antonio Holmes.

The new intro on the Youtube clips is so good that you should consider separately uploading the entire radio edit/extended dance remix version* with Cumit doing the whole thing from start to finish. That is great.

* Produced by Timbaland.

heh, I just got my hands on some Earle Bruce stuff, as well as the 1999 Sugar Bowl. Other than that, though, if you've got it, UPLOAD IT. The only reason I upload what I have to YouTube is because no one else has. And from the looks of it, the 1998 WVU game is infinitely more interesting than the 1998 Mizzou game. I'm jealous :P

Curious, though, what do you have?

Good stuff. You got me motivated to upload a lot of the stuff I had taped from back in the day. I'm just starting to sort through it, but I'll try not to overlap what you've put up.
