I've picked up on when they're talking about the restaurant and when they're talking about the drug dealer/scatback. But then again, the difference is that I actually listen to the locals down here when they're talking (most of the time, at least). Vic doesn't. Locals, who aren't repulsed by the very sight of him and actually start talking to him, make him very uncomfortable.

To be honest, I've been down here for 2 years+ now and I still haven't gotten used to it. Evidently the locals treat it as a homonym, because we have Jimmy Johns down here too, though I would never eat there.

Every time I hear Jimmy Johns, though, my mind flashes back to my 4 years at Ohio State with that one drunk blonde girl my friends and I knew well. Every time she wanted a snack, she would blurt out "let's go to Jimmy John's!!" in one of the most nasely tones imaginable (think: Fran Drescher meets little girl doped out on cough medicine... that kind of tone. The girl in question though was cool, I wouldn't have hung out with her if I couldn't stand her.). She practically lived at that Jimmy Johns on the corner of 15th and High. She would even go behind the counter at times and make her own sandwich. For a period, you could go up to the counter and order a "Blerin" and get a custom sandwich from them.

Ah, memories. How they come back so clearly with the help of Jimmy John's cocaine.

I confess that when I first saw this headline floating around earlier, I thought it was the sandwich shop. Not one of the 76 new Saban recruits.

Dude, I don't know what's worse. Jimmy Johns peddling cocaine whilst having an open Facebook account or my idiot coworkers and UA alums for using my work computer to browse Facebook (I don't recall allowing them either) and saving their passwords.

It could just be the nature of the offense, but I found his Facebook profile humorous.
