did Rodriguez just predict victory in Columbus?
Again, Vic and I are busy at work on a work project and should be wrapped up with that by the end of the week, and Max is making the transition towards a new, exciting job, so you’re not going to hear a lot from us for a few days. In the event we do post something, it won’t be that big or grandiose.
But we just came across this and don’t know what to think of it. Pay attention to the first few words, and then hit mute when everyone starts singing that most wretched tune. That said, did Rodriguez just call his shot? A victory in Columbus? What’s missing here is context, so I won’t conjecture too much on it. Moreover, the video itself was added two weeks ago, so it’s not entirely that recent. Nevertheless, take a gander for yourself:
Again, the context is missing here 1, but at least on its face, it sounds like Rodriguez is predicting something. If nothing else, this is also a flimsy pretext to post something to keep our blog’s URL in the b10b feed.

I’m guessing it’s general chestbumping to get the crowd lathered up. RichRod strikes me as a guy with a loose tongue who will say all sorts of things on impulse, but I doubt that’s where he was going with that.
It is humorous to see him try to relate to Michigan’s mystique. He looks kind of uncomfortable while singing that.
What exactly did he say? I couldn’t make it out word-for-word. It sounded like something about going into the locker room, and something about whipping a certain school from down south, but I’m not entirely sure.
The school down south probably refers to Miami(Oh). After getting his ass handed to him by Utah, he’ll be looking for redemption with his next opponent.
He’s certainly trying to establish himself, however badly, as a michigan man.
